Performance Pups was formed out of a necessity. As hard as it is to believe, not all dogs are accepted to compete for titles or just participate for fun in the current various sanctioning organizations.  Rare breeds (those not registered with the large kennel clubs) and mixed breeds therefore are left out of the fun. 

We feel your pain. We are owners of purebred dogs, who are not register-able with the clubs that provide events in our area. So we decided to change that and offer sports and social interaction for rare and mixed breed dogs.  Purebreds register-able with other organizations however will not be turned away. They are welcome too.  Our main goal is fun.  Why should our dogs be left out just because they are not registered or are mixed breeds?

We are a rescue friendly organization and plan to donate a portion of our annual proceeds to:
